Hi, I’m Wilmary Rios, founder of MedBill Pro LLC.

 

I started this company with one simple belief: independent healthcare providers deserve the same level of billing support as large practices—without the corporate price tag or impersonal service. As a bilingual (English and Spanish) freelancer and fulltime employee medical biller with over four years of hands-on experience, I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and what truly matters to small practices like yours.

 

My Background

 

I graduated with high honors from American Institute in West Hartford, CT, earning a Medical Billing and Coding Diploma. In my first ever billing job, I was assigned a Medicare RAC audit and successfully prevented RAC from recouping $250,000 from the provider. At my second job, I was able to recoup over $100,000 in old accounts receivable, earning a  "Rookie of The Year" award. That diploma laid the foundation for my career—but it’s the real-world experience working with providers like you that truly shaped my approach: clear communication, personalized service, and a deep commitment to accuracy and compliance.

 

Why I Do This?

 

Before launching MedBill Pro LLC, I worked directly with providers—from mental health professionals to specialty clinics—who were overwhelmed by the complexity of insurance claims, patient billing, and compliance requirements. I saw billing companies treat smaller practices like an afterthought. I knew there had to be a better way.

 

So I built it.

 

I understand what it’s like to run a small business because I run one, too. Like you, I wear a lot of hats. I know the value of honest work and dependable support.
